June 2025 – At the completion of his NCAA tenure with Michigan State University, Gucciardi signed a two-year contract that begins in 2025-26. He had 45 points in 139 NCAA games as he is a steady presence on the back end. Washington must see something there to have signed him, and he will need to impress in the AHL if he is to get a shot with the Capitals in the future. Pat Quinn
