This week, the DobberProspect writers started our annual prospect draft for our fantasy league. Kevin LeBlanc wrote this article earlier which covered the first round of picks, doing a great job at figuring out who the value picks were, and why some players were taken perhaps higher or lower than pure talent would dictate. [...]
By Kevin Wickersham The United States Hockey League and their alumni had a couple of banner days at the NHL Entry Draft with 48 players and former players selected. That’s nearly a quarter of all 217 draftees. Most of us know about Casey Mittelstadt and Eeli Tolvanen, and are getting more familiar with Josh [...]
As the summer doldrums continue in July with nothing too much to talk about from a prospects perspective, I figured I'd let you guys in on what the Dobber Prospects Fantasy Hockey League has been up to (besides, this IS a fantasy hockey site about prospects). We just started our amateur draft, and had completed [...]
There is no off-season in fantasy hockey and with hockey prospects, with the majority of NHL Development Camps wrapping up the focus shifts to some upcoming tournaments. Before we move on, let’s look back first. The Philadelphia Flyers and Toronto Maple Leafs dev camps are over and Russ Cohen, Mike Augello and Anthony Mingioni share [...]

This effect will be amplified more than ever on the vegas Golden Knights, a rag-tag team of players who, for the most part, have never played together before which leaves an enormous amount of [...]
Eeli Tolvanen, the 31st overall pick in the 2017 entry draft by the Nashville Predators, is heading back to Finland after his academic credentials were reportedly found wanting at Boston College. With the expansion draft, entry draft and the free-agency signing deadline behind us, hockey GMs and fantasy pool fanatics alike are now in [...]

Some are already over, some are ongoing, and some are coming up. For a complete list see my previous Ramblings with all 31 teams posted rosters and [...]
