April 2026 – Surin wrapped up the 2025-26 KHL season with 15 goals and 22 assists in 57 games as a budding U-19 star. He also registered 43 penalty minutes and a plus 22 along the way, indicating he continues to develop into an all-around stud for multi-cat fantasy leagues by the time he arrives in North America in the next two years. In case he is still available in your dynasty league, scoop him up before it is too late. There is a very strong likelihood you will be scooping up a top six forward for years to come. July 2025 – To the disappointment of Predators fans, Surin signed a two-year KHL contract running through the 2026-27 season. This means he is unlikely to be in North America until the 2027-28 season, although he might arrive NHL-ready by that time. He put up 14 points in 41 games for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the KHL in 2024-25 as an 18-year-old, which is rather impressive because KHL teams usually do not give young players much opportunity. Look for Surin to push himself over the half a point per game mark in the KHL during 2025-26, as he continues developing his offensive ability. If Surin is still available in your multicat dynasty league, pick him up immediately.
