April 2018 – Bouramann completed his rookie pro season with a bit of a mixed bag. The smooth skater finished with 28 points in 54 games in the ECHL, earning a five game sniff with Iowa. His 18% involvement in Rapid City’s goals is promising, but he will need to entrench himself on Iowa’s roster next year in order to take a step forward. Will Scouch
January 2018 – The Wild appear to be taking the long route with Bouramman as he’s spent this year in Rapid City in the ECHL. Results have been mixed, as the offensive defenseman has just over half a point-per-game, but he’s still very young and very raw. The offensive tools were there last year in Sault Ste. Marie, and Minnesota can afford to be patient. Will Scouch
March 2017 – The Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds had an excellent regular season, finishing second in the OHL’s Western Conference behind the powerhouse Erie Otters, although Bouramman took a step back. The 20-year-old finished his third full season with the team yet regressed from 46 points to 36 with just two goals to his name. He registered a 53% goals for percentage, but that put him 6.5% behind the average for an excellent SSM squad. He is already signed to an entry-level deal with Minnesota, but he may require patience as he takes the next step in his career with Iowa. His 9.33% involvement on his team’s goals leaves much to be desired as well, and he will need to take a big step forward to hold a serious position on Minnesota’s depth chart. Will Scouch
October 2016 – Gustav Bouramman has been returned to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL to continue building his body and hopefully breaking new ground offensively when piloting their power play in the coming campaign. Edric Joseph
September 2016 – Gustav Bouramann has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Minnesota Wild. Nevertheless, he is expected to remain in the OHL for the upcoming season. Edric Joseph
May 2016 – Bouramman proved to be a lot more assertive as the past season progressed with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in his sophomore OHL year. He managed to put up 46 points and 43 PIMs and really took his increased role seriously without Darnell Nurse and Anthony DeAngelo around to rule the roost. His vision and ability to find his teammates increase his likelihood in finding employment on a power play this fall. Edric Joseph
December 2015 – Things could be better for Gustav Bouraman and his responsiveness to his more prominent role this season for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds this season. He was expected to flourish given the graduation of Darnell Nurse to the professional ranks but has stumbled. He boasted considerable upside after making the OHL all-rookie team in 2014-2015 and it shows with 16 points and a minus-13 rating through 30 games so far this season. His puckhandling and mobility are not questioned, his consistency and his need to put on size to handle tough competition are still works in progress. Edric Joseph
August 2015 – Gustav Bouramman put up a noteworthy OHL rookie season and it paid off when he got drafted by the Minnesota Wild this past June. His first campaign in North America went better than expected as he netted a respectable 44 points through 67 games for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds en-route to garnering All-rookie honors. Not unlike fellow Wild prospect Jack Sadek, Minnesota is getting terrifc value as they get the 75th ranked North American skater available in the entry draft according to Central Scouting. He shows he terrific passing back and above average hockey IQ, with perhaps more offensive output waiting to be tapped into. Edric Joseph
