Observations:
April 2013 – After limited use in Philly, the Flyers placed him on waivers for the Canucks to claim. He now has a regular role as a bottom line agitator and fore-checker. He is only useful for penalty minutes and a few hits as playing six minutes or less a game won’t do much else for you. Jason Banks

November 2012 – Sestito was resigned by the Flyers in the mid-summer but was not re-assigned to the AHL. Instead he has taken the opportunity to play in Sheffield, England, where he has 12 points and 65 penalty minutes in 10 games and has also served a three game suspension for a hit to the head. March 2012 – Sestito is certainly known for his strong physical play and his willingness to drop the gloves. In his last year of juniors (2006-07) for the Plymouth Whalers he scored 42 goals while also racking up 135 penalty minutes. He is in his fifth pro season originally with the Blue Jackets and now with the Flyers organization, Sestito is a power forward that will not be looked upon for scoring, more so for his agitation and enforcer role.
Sestito has the NHL size frame and physical presence who knows how to rack up the PIM. Potential PIM stud.
