Observations:
June 2014 – Over the past couple of years, Bourque has become an established NHL regular with the Predators. Upon the conclusion of his entry level contract he earned himself a two-year one-way contract. Despite grabbing a foothold as a NHL player, Bourque is still unlikely to be a fantasy relevant player. This past season he potted 26 points in 74 games and he seems to have carved out a niche as a bottom six energy player. Donesh Mazloum
January 2013 – Bourque was recently recalled after a short conditioning stint as he returns from a lower body injury. He is currently third on the depth chart from the left side and should show enough production to warrant attention. He had 12 points in 15 AHL games during the lockout but his talent is beyond that level at this point. Jason Banks
May, 2011 – Bourque is small in stature but he hasn’t let that slow him down at this point. He is a creative player and works hard to make up for his short-comings, but it will be interesting to see how he keeps up during a full year against bigger NHL players. Bourque has been effective for Nashville so far, playing in ten playoff games with the Preds. Ryan Goddard
Fantasy Outlook: C –
Despite being an NHL regular, Bourque isn’t likely to be a good source of points or peripheral stats.
