AHL defenseman.
Tall, mobile defenseman with good offensive tools, but shakey decision-making on both sides of the puck. Needs to adapt to professional hockey, but could hold an NHL roster spot one day.
Despite his small size Sobolev is an aggressive defender who is constantly engaged physically.
A poised defender who passes the puck well.
Burroughs has a good first pass and moves the puck well. He also has some grit in his six-foot frame.
Agile, puck-moving defenseman with good hands and an aggressive playing style. Boom-or-bust prospect.
Efficient puck mover from the back end who uses powerful strides to jump into the rush. Still a work in progress, his combination of size and skill give him potential as a two-way, puck moving defenceman at the NHL level.
Lauzon is a mobile, two-way defenseman that will contribute all across the scoresheet if given the opportunity. He also plays with a slight edge to his game, offering additional support for those in fantasy leagues that count PIM.
Quenneville’s viability as an NHL defenseman will depend on whether his puck moving skills will be enough to offset the difficulties he is likely to have in handling bigger NHL forwards around the net.
Technically sound defensive defenseman. Arnesson won’t fill the scoresheet but is capable of playing significant minutes and can help in leagues that count plus/minus.
