Centers
Kent Johnson
A potential top-line center who thinks the game at a high level. He is crafty, creative, and can create dangerous plays. He has all the offensive tools to be an elite center in the NHL but will need to build a bigger frame.
Riley Kidney
A very crafty forward that uses his high-end puck skills to create offensive opportunities for himself and his teammates.
Sam Lipkin
A big skilled player who has a few years of development ahead of him, could be a dark horse.
Jack Hughes
Skilled playmaker who plays a mature two-way game. His upside may be limited but his floor is relatively high and he should grow into an impactful third line NHL center at the very least.
James Malatesta
High-energy forward that impacts the game with great skating ability. Plays bigger than his size but needs to continue rounding out his game to become an effective NHL player.
Theodor Niederbach
An extremely smart and skilled offensive player with top-six upside. A pass-first type player with high-end playmaking abilities. A natural center but there are some concerns about his ability to play down the middle at the pro level.
Francesco Pinelli
Intelligent playmaking center with great vision and slick hands. Projects as a play driving top-six pivot at the NHL level if he can add some pace to his game and tighten up his stride.
Ty Smilanic
Smilianic has a laser for a shot and uses it often. He has played center or on the wing with the USNTDP team but he could move to the wing fulltime at the next level.
Nate Schnarr
Didn't offer up much till 2018-19 when he started racking up the points in his final junior season. Still tends to lean towards an upside of third-line center in NHL after a couple years in the AHL.
Curtis Douglas
Big, intimidating center who uses his size as an asset. An agile skater for his size who is often the hardest worker on the ice. Has potential to fill a fourth line role in the NHL.
