September 2023 – Wisdom had a strong showing during rookie camp as he scored the only goal for the Flyers in game two of the rookie series against the Rangers rookies. The physical winger will need to have a “redemption camp” this year in hopes to make and stick with the Flyers AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Even though he just turned 21 in July, the former 2020 fourth-round pick can cannot afford another season in the ECHL. James Iacovone

June 2022 – Starting his 2021-22 season late due to injury, Wisdom played 43 regular-season games with the OHL’s Kingston Frontenacs, recording nine goals and 29 assists. As Wisdom continued to heal and reacclimate himself to playing, his productivity increased. In 11 postseason games, he posted four goals and 11 assists. Getting a taste of the AHL in 2020-21, Wisdom officially turns pro next season, looking to make an immediate impact with the Phantoms. Scoring seven goals and adding 11 assists during his first stint in Lehigh Valley, the Flyers are hopeful he can remain healthy and pick up where he left off. John Gove

October 2020 – Zayde Wisdom is the first of the Flyers’ 2020 draft picks to have signed his entry-level contract. He is still expected to report to Kingston this coming season, although it’s safe to say that Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher has high hopes for him. He’s an excellent energy player that seems nothing if not keen to make the most of what opportunities are afforded to him. Edric Joseph
