October 2020 – Houde passed through the 2020 NHL Draft without a selection, making him a free agent. Jokke Nevalainen
June 2020 – Houde didn’t get signed by the June first deadline. He re-enters the draft. Jokke Nevalainen
March 2020 – Houde’s offensive game broke out this season on a stacked Chicoutimi team in the QMJHL. He not only got to a point per game for the first time in his junior career, but he well surpassed it with 52 points in 44 games. He was one of the team’s top offensive drivers while continuing to be responsible in his zone. The cancellation of the rest of the CHL season, playoffs, and the Memorial Cup is disappointing to many, however, it is most disappointing to Houde and his teammates who were poised to go on a deep run this season. This was his 4th and likely his final year for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens as he is expected to play in Laval next year for the Rocket. Pablo Ruiz
