August 2022 — Karpa, son of ex-NHLer and former Ranger Dave Karpa, will be entering his second season with Harvard University, after being drafted as an overage prospect.  Karpa posted six goals and six assists for 12 points in 33 games played for Harvard during the 2021-2022 season. Said to be a defensive-minded center with a high hockey IQ (he does go to Harvard, after all), time will tell if Karpa is able to follow in his Dad’s footsteps and work his way onto the Rangers in the future.  Brendan Ferry
