Yaroslav Fedoseyev

Final Rankings: Fedoseyev is a no nonsense, gritty, puck moving defenseman. He’s another Russian prospect who was able to get promoted through all three leagues to a stint in the KHL and KHL playoffs, which is rare specifically for defensemen. However, by doing so, I think he had to severely simplify his game. In the MHL, there seemed to be more flashes of offense off the rush and jumping in off the blue line that seemed to fade away as he was promoted up the ladder. Fedoseyev is punishing in a net front battle and along the boards. He’s capable of taking contact and making a good first pass. – Zak Egan
