June 2025- Tyson Jugnauth had himself a fantastic WHL season in 2024-2025, culminating in the 21 year-old defender signing his Entry Level Contract with Seattle. After splitting the previous season between the NCAA and WHL, he went off for 13 goals, 76 assists and 89 points in 65 games. He was the top scoring defenseman on the Portland Winterhawks by a mile, and second of any skater. Jugnauth did not have a powerful compliment of forwards to feed, as he was the only NHL affiliated prospect on the team. It’s entirely likely that Jugnauth is sitting in the free agent pool of your league, as he is barely rostered in Fantrax leagues as of writing. Should he make noise during camp this fall, one would feel quite happy to have invested in the summer. Alex Wyatt.

December 2024 – Jugnauth committed to Michigan State University for the 2025-26 season. Mark Henry

July 2022 – The Seattle Kraken drafted Jugnauth in the fourth round (100th overall) in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Mark Henry
