Middle-six winger with potential for high goal-scoring totals. Great skater that creates chances. Goes to the front of the net and has a serviceable wrist shot. Provides value in leagues that use SOG.

September 2024 – Drafted in the fourth round of the 2024 draft, Patterson is an exceptional skater who generates chances with his feet. He plays a north-south style of game and isn’t afraid to hang out in front of the net. He also features a quick release that has given him some success. Patterson also has a high motor that is evident in all three zones. He has a quick stick in the defensive zone, utilizes his speed through the neutral zone and battles in the offensive zone. Patterson has some fine-tuning to his game, but he is an intriguing prospect to look out for as the OHL season progresses. Nick Orr
