June 2025 – The calling card of Geary’s game will not be offensive production, and his NCAA career statistics with confirm that. His sophomore season saw him put up a goal, six assists and 43 penalty minutes in 37 games.
For Geary to get to the NHL, he will need to continue to hone his shutdown skills and develop into a play-killing blueliner. He won’t be worth a stash at this point as he develops, and will be worth watching more closely if and when he joins the AHL ranks, if your league rewards defensive metrics. Alex Wyatt
June 2024 – The Buffalo Sabres drafted Geary in the sixth round (172nd overall) in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. Mark Henry
