Ollie Josephson

September 2026 – Josephson had a productive first NCAA season at North Dakota, recording six goals and 14 assists for 20 points in 38 games while establishing himself as a reliable defensive center. The 2024 fourth-round pick’s season was interrupted by an injury during North Dakota’s NCAA Tournament run, but he recovered in time to return for the Frozen Four semifinal. Josephson’s shutdown ability and strong two-way game remain his biggest selling points, and after four seasons in the WHL, the 20-year-old will look to build on his first college campaign as he continues his development with the Fighting Hawks. July 2025 – Josephson missed some time in 2024-2025, only skating in 48 games compared to the 68 a year prior. His offense matured further, potting 14 goals and adding 21 assists for 35 points. He wore the C on his chest for the Red Deer Rebels, and we will likely see him take a swan song in the WHL before moving to the AHL to continue his march towards the bottom-six at the NHL level. Alex Wyatt

October 2024 – Josephson is showing signs of a developing offensive game in the WHL, growing his offensive output to 12 goals, 35 assists and 47 points in 68 games in 2023-24. April 2024 – Ollie Josephson is a bet on a guy who does a lot of things right. He plays with pace and is a strong forechecker and in-zone defender, an effective transition player, a solid playmaker, and takes high-quality shots. Even if the production doesn’t come, its not unrealistic to expect Josephson to develop into an effective, high-energy bottom-six driver at higher levels. Luke Sweeney
