Noah Beck

September 2025 – A transfer to Arizona State University for the 2024-25 season saw a breakout season for the former 2020 seventh-round pick (194th overall) by the St. Louis Blues, particularly in the assists category. Beck ranked fifth on the team in scoring with 33 points (five goals and 28 assists), while the next highest scoring defenseman had 13 points. He chipped in on the power play, scoring four goals.

After signing a one-year contract with the San Jose Sharks, he played in one American Hockey League game with the San Jose Barracuda to finish the 2024-25 season, where he will have the opportunity to develop for the 2025-26 season before becoming a restricted free agent at the end of the season. Already 24 years old, should the San Jose Sharks be sellers once again at the trade deadline (highly likely), it would not be out of the question to see Beck make his 2025-26 NHL debut toward the end of the season.

Follow his AHL season with the Barracuda and add Beck to your watch list, but only as a late-season injury replacement option is the strategy you can use if you have room on your minors eligible slots. If he produces at the AHL level, consider stashing him. However, given his one-year contract, projecting long-term value is challenging unless he secures a contract extension in San Jose. July 2024 – After four seasons with Clarkson University, Beck has decided to transfer to Arizona State for the upcoming season. August 2023 – Even though Beck started last season with a three-point game, his performance remained consistent with his previous season. He played the same number of games and had almost identical points. He will play for Clarkson University this season for the fourth year in a row.
