March 2025 – The San Jose Sharks signed Beck to a one-year, entry-level contract starting in the 2025-26 season. Mark Henry

July 2024 – After four seasons with Clarkson University, Beck has decided to transfer to Arizona State for the upcoming season. The Blues must hope that this move will benefit the big defenseman, as last season was a huge step back in his offensive performance, with only nine points in 30 games. Cedrick Blais-Turcotte

August 2023 – Even though Beck started last season with a three-point game, his performance remained consistent with his previous season. He played the same number of games and had almost identical points. He will play for Clarkson University this season for the fourth year in a row. June 2022 – Beck completed his sophomore season in the NCAA with Clarkson University this year. He made massive improvements, racking up five goals and 17 assists for 22 points in 37 games. Throughout this season, he showed the offensive output that has gotten him this far, scoring relatively consistently. As Beck returns to Clarkson next year, he should look to improve his numbers this season. One area that could use refinement is his shot selection; out of 107 shot attempts at even strength, Beck missed the net or had his shot blocked 57 times. Gordon Munro
