June 2022 – Beginning the 2021-22 season in the AHL, Millman suffered a lower-body injury keeping him out for about two months. He returned in December, spending some time bouncing between the AHL and ECHL. He finally settled in playing the Reading Royals and put together a quality campaign, registering eight goals and 17 assists in 36 games. A trustworthy two-way defenseman with strong skating ability, Millman possesses key attributes to one day become a reliable NHL blueliner. Expect Philadelphia to remain patient, allowing Millman the necessary time to continue his development in the AHL. John Gove
November 2020 – Millman will look to improve his defensive game in his coming campaign with the Saginaw Spirit. He will be one the guys carrying the bulk of the mail given how offensively oriented the Spirit typically is. If he really wanted to make the most of his time away from Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley, he really ought to get stronger. Edric Joseph
March 2020 – Millman is stepping up, better than the Saginaw Spirit or the Philadelphia Flyers could have hoped. His increased time on specialty teams, particularly the powerplay, has been hard-earned. He has been putting up quite the act to follow in his OHL swan song next season. Edric Joseph
