Louka Cloutier

April 2026 – When he was selected 132nd overall in the 5th round of the 2024 NHL Draft, Cloutier was not ranked by Central Scouting. In his D+1 season in the USHL, he played 31 games and put up a .882 SV%, a notable decline from the .904 of his draft year. Expectations were not high when he committed to Boston College for 2025-26, but the results have been exceptional. His .910 SV% and 33 starts had him on Richter Award watch for much of the year and he earned Hockey East Rookie of the Month honours in December. The year ended with a tough deflection goal against in OT and a rough final stretch of the season, but his performance as a rookie has made him the anticipated BC starter again for 2026-27 and a notable riser in the Avs system. He does not have an ELC yet, but another strong year in the NCAA would certainly begin talks about when is best for him to turn pro. Hayden Soboleski
