Observations

July 2025 – Sawyer collected 16 points in 37 games for Providence College of the NCAA in 2024-25. A good start to his NCAA career, and hopefully a stepping stone to higher offensive production in 2025-26 as he continues developing his skills. Sawyer projects as a bottom-six contributor at the NHL level; however, he has some offensive upside that could unlock middle-six production one day. Ioan Gheordanescu   

July 2024 – Logan Sawyer was drafted 78th overall by the Montreal Canadiens. His two-way game and hockey IQ make him a projectable bottom-sixer, but he is a very raw talent.
