Team: Unrestricted Free Agents
Fantasy Summary
A small but feisty centreman who is always noticeable on the ice.
Observations
August 2025 – Katzin was one of the more surprising players to go undrafted, with a solid showing for the Guelph Storm in 2024-2025 with a 16 goal, 32 assist effort over 44 games.
His size no doubt played a factor- listed at 5-8 and 176 pounds- but his accolades so far as a just-turned 18 year-old would lead one to presume a team would have taken a shot on the second day of the draft. He has a goal medal with Canada at both the U17 World Hockey Challenge and the U18 World Juniors, and was even a first team all-star in his OHL rookie season.
Katzin will make his way to the NCAA this fall and aim to increase his stock for the 2026 class.
