July 2025 – In 2024, Sim had his contract rights with the Blues expire before returning for his final OHL eligibility year. Sim had the best season of his career with the London Knights, scoring 30 goals and 53 points in 54 games. His play earned him an AHL contract with the Toronto Marlies, where he will play next year. Turning 21 later this month, Sim still has plenty of runway to prove he can be an NHL player. He skates well enough to become an NHLer and has an identity as a pest who gets into lots of fights and gets suspended. While the Blues did not give him a contract, it would not be shocking to see him earn one next summer after an encouraging rookie year in the pros. If not, Sim will likely make a career in the minors as a brawler. James Connelly

July 2022- The St.Louis Blues drafted Sim in the sixth round (184th overall) in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Mark Henry
