June 2025 – Selected 201st overall, Kale Dach is now a member of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The undersized forward out of the BCHL exploded offensively during the 2024-25 season. He recorded 87 points (22 goals and 65 assists) in 54 regular-season games, averaging 1.61 points per game, an improvement from his 1.00 point per game average in 37 regular-season games in 2023-24, while adding another 13 points (three goals and 10 assists) in eight playoff games with the Sherwood Park Crusaders. With nothing left to prove in the BCHL and the changing landscape of junior hockey, Dach will play for the Calgary Hitmen in the Western Hockey League during the 25-26 season before joining Penn State University for the 2026-27 campaign. As a seventh-round pick, taking the CHL to NCAA route, he is a long way from fantasy relevancy. However, he is a player worth watching as he develops over the next couple of seasons. Mark Henry
