June 2023 – Dureau’s first year of professional hockey was split between Syracuse of the AHL and Orlando of the ECHL, with the young winger spending more time in the latter. Dureau seems to still be adjusting to the professional game, as his play feels like that of a junior player. Outside of his poor production in both leagues, Dureau’s defensive game was a major concern this season, and his effort in his own end was severely lacking. He has two more years on his entry-level deal to improve upon this glaring deficiency, but could very well spend that time in the ECHL. Wade Messier
December 2020 – Dureau is currently playing on a loan with the Melville Millionaires of the SJHL until the WHL season starts up. As of now, he is playing well with seven goals and four assists for 11 points in six games. This league is definitely a step below the WHL, but with many cancellations due to COVID-19, ice time is very important and Dureau is lucky to be getting it. Clare McManus
November 2020 – Dureau was drafted by the Lightning in the fifth round in the 2020 NHL Draft. He is currently playing on a loan in the SJHL with the Melville Millionaires. Clare McManus
