Fantasy Summary

Hard working defenseman with both size and mobility. High defensive maturity with average offensive skills. While showing a fantasy impact is rather unlikely, he should see some time in the NHL at some point of his career.

June 2019 – Tyszka did not receive an entry level contract from the Canadiens which means he re-enters the draft.  Jokke Nevalainen

August 2018. Tyszka, a fifth rounder in the 2017 NHL draft, showed a bit of a status quo campaign offensively with the Seatle Thunderbirds of the WHL, scoring 40 points in 70 games in 2017-18. The 6-2, Langley, BC, CAN native also scored a thin 3 points in his last 12 regular season games. We should not count on him to bring a high fantasy impact offensively talking. His development will still be monitored in 2018-19 in order to prepare for any fantasy relevant breakout. Carl Sinclair
