June 2025 – The Washington Capitals’ fifth-round pick (149th overall) in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft committed to Ohio State University for the 2025-26 season. Karabela spent the last four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Guelph Storm, producing 171 points (66 goals and 105 assists) in 249 career regular-season OHL games. He will have the opportunity to develop at the NCAA level instead of having to turn pro. While his offensive numbers may not stand out, Karabela is a good playmaker with some offensive upside; track his NCAA play before considering him in fantasy. Mark Henry
