Darren Raddysh

June 2023 – Raddysh is entering the final year of his current contract with Tampa Bay. While most of his season was spent in Syracuse with the Crunch, Raddysh made the most of it, averaging just over a point per game scoring page through 50 matches. All 17 of the games Raddysh played in the NHL this year came at the end of the season, and he saw a steady increase in ice time over that duration due to his more than capable offensive skills, as well as a steady defensive game. Raddysh could very well earn himself a spot among Tampa Bay’s bottom-four defensemen out of training camp next season. Wade Messier

October 2020 – Darren Raddysh has received a qualifying contract offer from the New York Rangers. The 24-year-old defenseman has been a productive and serviceable defenseman in the AHL, but has been limited to excelling in the minor leagues due to the Rangers’ impressive depth on the blueline. Raddysh will likely accept his qualifying offer, unless he and the team are able to negotiate a multi-year deal. His upside and NHL likelihood are both limited, but he could be a player to watch in the short-term for emergency call-ups.  Brayden Olafson
