Caden Taylor

August 2025 – One of several intriguing prospects who played for the Peterborough Petes who didn’t hear their name called on draft day, Caden Taylor is an intriguing prospects as far as and unselected player goes.

At 6-3, 205 pounds, the 18 year old winger with a lethal shot has plenty of attributes that one would expect would get a team to take a late round flier on. Taylor was second on the Petes in goal scoring and total points, with a line of 15 goals, 16 assists, and adding 51 penalty minutes over 68 games.

Unless you are in an exceptionally deep league that allows stashing undrafted players, Taylor is someone to keep an eye on to see if he can take advantage of an improved Petes team in the upcoming season, or finds himself on the way to another situation. If so, he’s a great candidate to watch as a re-entry in 2026. Alex Wyatt
