Arvid Drott

September 2026 – Drott maintained his production pace in his second full J20/U20 Nationell campaign, posting 25 points in 28 games for Djurgardens while tallying a single SHL appearance. He now makes the leap to North American junior hockey with the Medicine Hat Tigers – a high-offense environment that suits a power winger built around speed, a strong shot, and willingness to work around the net. Florida has made physical wingers their developmental calling card, and Drott fits the archetype. If he can add consistency and physical presence to his game at the WHL level, this could prove to be an underrated late-round pick. Ryan Downey

August 2025 – Drott creates offense off the rush like few others. When he gets up to speed, there will be a hard time stopping him. He shoots the puck well but his bread and butter is his skating. Without the puck, Drott is quite effective in the defensive zone. Like the prior three picks, Drott projects as a power forward at the NHL level. Whether he will get there is the question. With Drott being the last forward taken in this class, it is clear that the Panthers wanted to achieve one thing up front: get size to play the style that won back-to-back Stanley Cups.
