Anthony Allain-Samaké

May 2026- Allain-Samake skated in his rookie NCAA season in 2025-2026, scoring a goal and adding nine assists in 38 games. Offense is not the hallmark of Allain-Samake’s game, so while the lower point totals aren’t a cause for concern, it also requires him to provide other aspects of his game to make him a fantasy asset. According to Instat, Allain-Samake provided 29 hits, 49 blocks and 46 shots on goal.

This season hasn’t done a great deal to change his value as a fantasy asset, and as his role grows with his gained experience, so hold him if you have him, but there are most interesting options on the back end for fantasy that are closer to fantasy impact at present. Alex Wyatt

August 2025 – A natural skater, Allain-Samaké has an impact in all areas of the ice. He is a constant activator, coming to aid the rush; he rarely shoots at the net, preferring to pass. Allain-Samaké’s vision and passing are superb at the USHL level, being one of the better rush creators and transition passers in the league. He understands the game at a tactical level, using his off-puck movements to force shifts in defense coverages to open up holes for others. Allain-Samaké is not afraid to throw his 6-2 frame around, and together with his great skating, he’s a consistent defender, stopping attackers or forcing them outside. Allain-Samaké is another long-term project; he needs to bulk up, work on his offensive game, and refine elements of his defense. Committed to Connecticut for next season, he’ll likely need to spend three or more seasons in the NCAA. Markus R

Final Rankings – Though not the biggest, Allain-Samaké has strong skating and handling tools. Among the draft’s youngest, seeming to improve every game, and possessing a confident, attack mentality, Allain-Samake seems primed for a leap.—Luke Sweeney

June 2025 – Anthony Allain-Samaké is one of the youngest players in the entire 2025 draft and has experienced a steep development curve the past two seasons. Making the jump from NCDC hockey, tier II junior in the US, to USHL Sioux City full time, Allain-Samake has adjusted
quickly. His game revolves around his skating, ability to jump into the play, and attack the game physically. Allain-Samake struggled to produce this year but his mobility and general assertiveness, along with the long runway as a young birthday, means there may be something
