July 2024 – Siryatsky was taken in the fourth round of the 2024 NHL Draft to the Carolina Hurricanes. A rangy and lanky defender who understands that he is only 159 pounds and isn’t too physical, utilizing his stick and IQ to disrupt plays in his own zone. His offensive is incredibly simple, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing, as he isn’t dynamic in anything offensively. After putting up a respectable 19 points in 36 games at the MHL level, Siryatsky looks poised to challenge for a KHL spot going into this upcoming season. Since his contract runs until the end of the 2025-26 season, do not expect Siryatsky to make a real impact anytime soon in relation to coming to North America. Nick Bass
