Fantasy Summary

Potential to be a Bottom-six C

June 2018: Musil never quite found his footing with the San Antonio Rampage this season, his first as a pro. Being slotted up and down the lineup as both a center and winger Musil wasn’t nearly as consistent as his years prior in the WHL. Despite the struggles though Musil is just 21, still growing into his game. The center prospect will need more time to season in the AHL. Josh Epstein

September 2017 – Musil is at risk of getting left behind as other St. Louis Blues prospects develop.  He continues to have potential as a big framed, bottom six center/wing.  In 2016-2017 Musil played 56 games in the WHL with the Red Deer Rebels and recorded 20 goals and 31 assists.  Musil had two games with the Chicago Wolves in the AHL.  He had no points.  Musil is likely to start 2016-2017 with a crowded and talented Chicago Wolves team; and this season is essentially a make or break season for Musil. Doug Abrams

June 2015 – The St. Louis Blues selected Adam Musil with the 94th pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. Brendan Ross

June 2015 – Adam Musil is the definition of a power forward. With a wide and heavy frame combined with a very smooth skating stride, Musil’s game is very reminiscent of Erik Cole. He can be a dominant force along the wall and is effective at wearing down defenceman with his size and strength. One of the main concerns with Musil is his lack of production compared to his peers; however Musil’s pedestrian stats for the Rebels this year belie his true offensive potential. With above average playmaking skills and smooth hands in tight, Musil is not a checking threat alone. With added confidence and an enhanced role on the Memorial Cup host Rebels next year; look for Musil’s numbers to take a sharp increase.  Donesh Mazloum
