January 2025 – After 43 NHL games in 2023-24, Aman has spent much of this season in Abbotsford. He’s played just five NHL games but has been strong in the AHL. Through just 25 games, Aman is second on the team with 19 points and has been a consistent producer for the team. He’s displayed some good chemistry with fellow Swede Linus Karlsson. The 24-year-old has continued to display key trademarks of his game, including his strong two-way prowess and ability and willingness to get to the front of the net. There’s a chance that Aman may see himself in Vancouver at some point this season. Nick Orr

November 2023 – Since the start of the season, Aman’s production has significantly increased compared to his performance in the last few seasons. In 11 games, he has scored five goals and six assists, totaling 11 points. A crucial factor in this progress is his role on the powerplay. Abbotsford has positioned him on the first powerplay unit in the bumper spot, and it appears to be highly beneficial for him. Not only does he already have more powerplay points than last season (three), but he also effectively utilizes his size to position himself in the most advantageous spot for a shot on goal. If he can maintain this level of performance in the NHL, his fantasy relevance is likely to be significantly impacted. Cedrick Blais-Turcotte

May 2023 – Aman, the Swedish rookie center, had an impressive debut season with the Canucks. His transition seemed rather seamless, and his game adapted much quicker than most anticipated, earning the praise of not one NHL coach, but two. The 23-year-old showcased speed and play making abilities, an ability to frustrate opponents with his forechecking and excelled as an integral penalty killer throughout the year. While skating in a primarily bottom-six role, he amassed 16 points (4G + 12A), 41 blocks, 44 hits and 18 penalty minutes over 68 games. There are no doubts that Aman will be pressing for another permanent spot on the club’s bottom-six next season. However, his fantasy usage likely caps out among the deeper multi-cat leagues. June 2022 – Aman, a (2020) Colorado Avalanche sixth-rounder, has signed a two-year ELC deal with the Vancouver Canucks. The 22-year-old is a natural center but has recently seen success on the wing in the SHL. He plays a strong two-way game and focuses most of his energy on the right side of the puck. Despite his large 6-2 frame, he skates well and brings a decent motor to the table. Contrary to lucrative offensive numbers at the J20 Nationell (Sweden) levels in the past, his transition to the pro circuit has seen him take on more of a role-playing transformation. At this point, it is unclear if he will remain in Sweden or join the Abbotsford Canucks for the 2022-23 season. Regardless, the addition is considered more of a depth piece and while there is hope that he taps into some of his past offensive ways, a bottom-six upside is likely the cap. Dave Hall
