July 2026 – Few players in the 2026 class split opinion like Nordmark, and Anaheim bet on the talent, spending its second first-round pick on him at 28th overall. The Stockholm winger led the 2025 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in scoring and is a dual-threat creator with elite vision, a calm and confident touch that protects the puck, and a heavy, quick release that beats goaltenders from distance. He makes deft plays low in the zone and off the rush in equal measure. The doubts sit entirely off the puck. His off-puck work drifts, his skating leaves something to be desired, and he does not play to his 6-2 frame. If coaching instills that discipline, the skill plays up; if it does not, the tools stall.

For fantasy purposes, Nordmark is a playmaking-and-shot profile with power play written all over it. Anaheim signed him to a three-year entry-level contract, and he remains under contract with Djurgarden for 2026-27, where earning a full Swedish Hockey League role is the development that matters most. He has immense skill but has his NHL certainty questioned as many scouts say he rarely plays defense.
