Jonas Lagerberg Hoen

June 2026 – In one of the more surprising selections of the 2026 draft, the Senators nabbed Lagerberg Hoen at 25th overall. He played in just 11 games in 2025-26 thanks to injury. Keeper league GMs need to ask themselves if is he worth the reach in their drafts as well. Can he become a Wyatt Johnson type pick that no one knew he would come through like this, or was it a reach and he becomes a middle-six 20-goal scoring winger. Pat Quinn

Final Rankings: While we’re extremely bullish on JLH, a fully healthy season would likely have brought more first-round consideration for Lagerberg Hoen in public rankings. The 6-2 Leksands forward stands out for his pace, power, and straight-line rush game, using strong strides to attack wide lanes, protect the puck, and generate chances off the rush, including end-to-end sequences and goal-scoring plays. He also brings a competitive, physical element, consistently engaging on 50/50 pucks and defending with strong effort. His shot is a real weapon, with power and accuracy from range. While his playmaking and decision-making remain works in progress, his skating, motor, and scoring ability give him clear upside as a pace-driven, high-energy forward with intriguing tools at the next level. –Ryan Ma
