Fantasy Summary
A speedy, energetic winger who is an explosive skater and works hard in all three zones. Potentially become a bottom-six forward and see usage on the penalty kill.
Observations
March 2026 – Kvasnicka has been one of the WHL’s most productive players this season, posting 33 goals and 75 points in 54 games with Penticton – numbers that earned him WHL Player of the Month for January and placed him among the top ten in league scoring. That kind of production from a seventh-round pick at 202nd overall is impossible to ignore. He is a high-tempo winger whose offensive game is built on his skating and his ability to create in tight spaces, and he has shown the puck skills and creativity to project as a middle-six forward at the next level if the consistency develops. He is committed to Minnesota for 2026-27, which is the right environment to continue that development before turning pro. A dynasty watchlist name who is rapidly outplaying his draft position. Ryan Downey
August 2025 – Kvasnicka is a dynamic, high-energy winger. His game is built on his lightning-fast skating and aggressive offensive angles. He is relentless in attacking the blue line, thrives on give-and-go plays, and uses sharp, quick-twitch hands to break down defenders. While he’s still developing consistency, his puck skills and offensive creativity give him upside as a high-tempo middle-six forward if he continues progressing. Victor Nuño
June 2025 – Selected 202nd overall, Jacob Kvasnicka is now a member of the New York Islanders. Mark Henry
