Fantasy Summary
A hard-working forward, who plays well defensively, the offensive aspect of his game is a work in progress. Has the potential to become a solid two-way player in a bottom-six role.
Observations
September 2026 – A 2025 fifth-round pick (133rd overall), Chandler played for the Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL, where he scored 20 goals and totaled 52 points in 62 games. The 6-1, 185-pound center is committed to Northeastern for 2027-28. The college path gives him years to develop. Andrew Epps
August 2025 – Chandler is an absolute worker bee of a player who loves to pursue the puck and get into the dirty areas of the ice. Coming off an injury in his rookie season, Chandler did not have the runway in training camp that would have benefited him in his draft year. Still, he posted 32 points in 64 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes. The hope is a full off-season and proper training heading into the season will help Chandler regain the form he had in U18. With his offensive potency at each level he’s played, that is a fine bet to make for an organization trying to mine talent later in the draft. Sean Crocker
June 2025 – Selected 133rd overall, Cole Chandler is now a member of the Boston Bruins. Mark Henry
