Mikhail Fyodorov

August 2026 – Fyodorov spent the majority of the 2025/26 season playing for the Continental Cup Winning, Magnitogorsk Metallurg of the KHL, an impressive feat for an undersized 19 year old. Although Fyorodov only earned himself 13 points in the regular season, he earned the trust of the coaching staff and stuck with the big club for 14 of their 15 playoff games. If all the chips fall correctly and Fyodorov makes it as an NHL player, he likely fits in as a third-line scoring forward that could be play a role on a team’s second powerplay unit. Despite his promotion in his D+1 season, Fyodorov is still considered a long-shot prospect and should only be kept in formats with deep prospect pools. Liam Grigg

September 2025 – On the surface, Fyodorov’s 152-pound frame may be a turn-off, but he brings more to the table to make up for it. For starters, he can fly up and down the ice and is a handful for defenders to manage when he can maintain possession of the puck. Additionally, he is a threat from everywhere in the offensive zone and can register chances that translate to points. His 43-point campaign was accentuated by a stretch of 17 points in 13 games in the middle part of his MHL season. This earned him some time in both the KHL and VHL, where it was tough to see consistency in either league. This year, he will return to Stalnye Lisy Magnitogorsk and aim to continue his development.
