Fantasy Summary
A deceptive, undersized center. A boom or bust pick with offensive upside.
Observations
September 2026 – Loranger had a solid freshman season at Omaha in 2025-26, producing seven goals and 19 points in 28 games after entering college following an outstanding BCHL career. The 2025 seventh-round pick is a skilled, undersized forward who posted 119 points in 62 games with Sherwood Park before making the jump to the NCAA. Loranger transferred to UConn for 2026-27, where he will aim to take another step offensively in a new environment. He remains a long-term project, but his offensive instincts give him some upside beyond his draft position. Jayd Serdy
August 2025 – Loranger recorded 105 points in 54 games for the Sherwood Park Crusaders in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in the 2024-25 season. The 18-year-old center will compete for the University of Nebraska-Omaha (NCAA) for 2025-26. Chris Babos
June 2025 – Selected 198th overall, Jérémy Loranger is now a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Mark Henry
