July 2025 – The Ottawa Senators signed Parsons to a three-year, entry-level contract on July 2, 2025. He played his 2024-25 season with the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League, having a breakout season. He went 37-12-3 in 52 regular-season games, posting a 2.24 GAA and a .920 SV%, which led to Parsons winning the OHL and CHL goaltender of the year awards. He also won the Leo Lalonde Memorial Trophy for OHL Overage Player of the Year.
In 130 career games with the Rangers, Parsons had a 2.88 GAA, a .904 SV%, and a record of 74-44-7. He had committed to playing at Clarkson University for the 2025-26 season in November 2024, but signing an NHL contract will no longer make him eligible to play NCAA hockey.
