March 2020 – Fonstad’s production has plateaued since his draft season. In that year he had 73 points in 72 games, and he followed that up the year after with 73 points in 67 games. This season he put 74 points in 69 games. Normally you would applaud a player’s consistency, however, considering he played this past season as a 19-year-old in the WHL it would have been nice to have seen him build upon his previous seasons.
