April 2023 – After being passed over in the NHL Draft three times, Morrison has signed a three-year, entry-level deal with the Seattle Kraken. The 20-year-old centerman has had a prolific junior career in the OHL. In 222 games over five seasons, he has scored 111 goals and 273 points, including a 94-point campaign this season between the Hamilton Bulldogs and the Ottawa 67’s. Morrison will now return his focus to his current playoff run with the Ottawa 67’s, where he already has ten points in five games, as they look to earn a berth in the Memorial Cup. Curtis Rines

July 2019 – Morrison is coming off of his first season in the Ontario Hockey League with the Hamilton Bulldogs. Morrison managed to tally 14 goals and 20 assists in 47 games played. In addition, he was featured in four playoffs game and recorded an assist during the Bulldogs short playoff stint. The 5’11” center might be a bit undersized, but he makes up for it with solid speed and great hockey IQ. In fact, he had arguably the highest hockey IQ in his OHL draft class.
