Oct 2019 – Bergmann is one of the many new faces Sharks fans might notice on the ice this year after he signed an entry-level contract this off-season. The winger possesses both size and skill and hopes to contribute to the Sharks second line with a two-way game. Bergmann is yet to prove himself against elite competition and might struggle to keep pace with the speed of the NHL. His fantasy potential remains low, but keep a watchful eye on the big German, he might surprise you. Alex Howes
June 2019 – The Sharks signed Bergmann as a free agent in May of 2019. For a player of his size, Bergmann can really dangle and shoots the puck with authority. The only real knock on Bergmann is the quality of competition he has faced; the DEL is a good league but it’s not considered among the top European pro leagues. We’ll have to see if Bergmann’s puck skills and motor will still stand out among the crowd in the AHL. Chris Legg
