Individual Breakdown
The top three prospects for Dallas are must owns, and you can see with Fantrax ownership many Fantasy GMs agree. Stankoven busted on to the scene in his first game and may make the playoff roster for Dallas. Harley finally got the chance to prove himself and prove himself he did, as he has seemingly cemented himself as the teams #2-#3 defenseman. Bourque would likely be impressing in the NHL if the Stars had room.
Kyrou is another high-upside defenseman for Dallas, but with the players ahead of him he may never hit it. Bichsel is likely ahead of Kyrou due to the safer NHL floor he possesses, but quite a few DobberProspect writers believe in the upside as well.
The remainder of the system is pretty bare with so many graduations and the Stars’ lacking of top selections in the prior few drafts.
Team Breakdown
Dallas has dropped in rankings thanks to players graduating over time. As the older players leave in Dallas the holes will appear to be immediately plugged, leaving the assumptions that this team will be competitive for a long time.
Blumel has produced will in the AHL, and looked good on a few call ups last season, but has rarely been used in 2023-24. Mayorov, Betrucci, and Minnetian have believers in the DobberProspects group. The team will need to find some gems late in the draft going forward, as Dallas seems poised to be competitive for a long time.
