July 2023 – Vorobyov was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2015, 104th overall in the fourth round; he played four seasons in North America with the Flyers franchise before heading back to Russia for the 2020-21 season after signing a three-year contract with Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the Kontinental Hockey League. In May 2023, Vorobyov signed a new two-year contract with the SKA Hockey Club of the KHL. His new contract will expire on April 30, 2025. Mark Henry
