December 2023 – In his first season with the Sioux Falls Stampede, Nehring has two goals and two assists in 11 games. Unfortunately, he has been sidelined with an injury and has not played since October 27. Mark Henry

 

August 2023 – Nehring was selected in the third round (82nd overall) by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. He played the past four seasons at Shattuck-St.Mary’s Prep School in Minnesota. In 2022-23, he had 85 points (39 goals and 46 assists) in 54 games. Nehring participated in the Jets’ 2023 Development Camp in July; he will play for Sioux Falls of the USHL during the 2023-24 season and is committed to playing for Western Michigan in the NCAA, starting in the 2024-25 campaign. Mark Henry
