Fantasy Summary

The knock on him to date has been that he does not use his size enough and plays on the perimeter. Mix in average skating and Halliday has relied on his above-average playmaking abilities to have the success he has had so far.

Observations

Read Less Read More

April 2023 – Ohio State lost to the eventual Frozen Four champions Quinnipiac this year, but it’s hard to imagine Halliday having a better freshmen college season. He had 41 points in 40 games which led the Buckeyes while only seven of his points were on the power play. The Buckeyes lost a few key players at the end of 2022-2023, so Halliday should be given more responsibility in 2023-2024 on a possibly weaker team. Grant Campbell

August 2022 – Halliday went undrafted twice before Ottawa took him this year. He broke the the all-time USHL Tier I Regular seasons scoring record last season, and will be playing with Ohio State in 2022-2023. Look for him to hit the ground running as he should be given the opportunity to succeed there. Grant Campbell
