Fantasy Summary

Small skilled forward who was overlooked during his draft years and took on scoring in the AHL with ease

February 2024 – Dubé has come as advertised for the Hershey Bears. He leads the team in goals, with 23, and is fourth in points with 32 points. With that he does have only nine assists and is shooting a high 17.8%, higher than his 2022-23 number of 12.1%. Dubé’s totals are a little inflated but he is a top player for the Bears, and he is being used as such. If he can continue his upward trajectory and stay healthy, the Capitals could have a skilled winger on their hands. Dubé is also doing all he can to make people forget that he is 5-9 as he is playing much better than that. He is a prospect to watch. Pat Quinn

August 2023 – Dubé was a stand out player in his first AHL season for the Laval Rocket in 2022-23 scoring 32 points, 16 goals and 16 assists, in 44 games. He managed to turn an AHL contract into a two-year, two-way contract with the Capitals. At 22-years-old, and the Capitals needing to replenish the NHL ranks with skill soon, there is plenty of time for Dubé to develop in to a skilled middle-six scorer down the line. Pat Quinn
