July 2024- After a successful year in the QMJHL, surprisingly Utah did not offer Langlois an entry-level contract. Racking up 17 goals and 62 points in 2023-24, the mobile defenseman now becomes a free agent. Keith Duggan

October 2023- Since being drafted 94th overall in 2022 (a pick Arizona traded up for), Langlois is now on his third team in the QMJHL. Each club though, Langlois has left a good impression on. From being a team captain and top pairing defenseman on the struggling Cape Breton Eagles to then the powerhouse Quebec Remparts, where he helped them win a Memorial Cup last year. To now, where he’s a member of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. His play with Quebec left the biggest impression with scouts. The Remparts demand a lot from their blueliners; Controlled breakouts, three-zone activation and creation from the point. Langlois passed with flying colors. He showed more creativity, passing through forecheckers, dangling around defenders and driving the net for chances. His defense game also improved. With more support, he closed gaps in the neutral zone, positioning him to force dump-ins and earn stops at the blue line. So far, his play with Rouyn-Noranda has been just as strong, Langlois has been nearly a point per game player for the Huskies. Keith Duggan
