June 2025. As of 2025, Knak has yet to come over from Switzerland, and it appears the 23 year old has committed to remain there for the 2025-2026 season. Knak is an NHL-sized player with some decent defensive instincts, but does not appear to be within a close proximity to showcasing his talents on North American ice any time soon. Alex Wyatt.
June 2022 – The 20-year-old Swiss winger completed his second year with Davos in the Swiss league and scored six goals and 11 points in 42 games. This was not much of a step up from the 2020/21 season, where he only had three fewer points in almost half the games. It’s been tough for Knak to get an expanded role on a team filled with mostly men. Look for him as a potential breakout prospect heading into this year with Davos; however, his future NHL outlook remains a fourth-liner at best. Curtis Rines
December 2021 – Mainly playing third-line minutes for Davos, Knak is producing at an identical rate to last season. This is not necessarily the best thing to see, as you would hope to see some progression in his point production, however, any exposure to pro hockey is a benefit. Expect Knak to play a significant role for Switzerland at this year’s World Junior Championship after participating in both of the last two tournaments. Curtis Rines
August 2021 – After being drafted overage, Knak will head over to his homeland of Switzerland with a chip on his shoulder to show the Preds that they were right to draft him in the sixth round this year. Curtis Rines
